Return to Daytona Beach in August of 2005. I live 5 miles from the beach but rarely go there. The closer you live to the beach, the less you care about it.

I don’t know why but that was so true for me. 🙂 For the last 8 months, I worked right next to the sea. How close was the sea? A stone’s throw away! And yet, I remember only 3-4 occasions when I was truly captivated by the place. Interestingly, I held the sea in awe and wonder when I lived in a place that had no beach. Cool. 🙂
