I added integration with Facebook Photos to the write post screen! Now, when you go to write a post in the administrative area, you’ll see a new button under “Add media”:
Click the “f” to add photos from your Facebook account. First, you have to set it up…
Click the first button, log in to Facebook in the window that pops up, and then you’ll get a window like this:
I checked “Keep me logged in,” and recommend the same for you, as it’s more convenient. After clicking “Log in,” you’ll get this message:
Go ahead and close the window, then click the second button back on thripp.com. Then, you’ll see a screen like this. You can choose the album you want to add photos from. For my Facebook, I created one album with nine photos, so I see this:
Click one, and you’ll get to pick from three sizes. For all of them, the photo will link back to the Facebook page for that photo. I use the medium size. The choices are limited because Facebook only provides three resolutions.
After you click the resolution, the photo is inserted into your post!
If you use the HTML rather than visual mode, you’ll see the HTML code for the photo: an a href tag that links to the Facebook page, wrapped around an img src tag for the Facebook thumbnail.
To add a second photo, click the “f” again. This time, you’ll be able to pick the photo right away, and you shouldn’t need to log in to Facebook again. Here’s the example photos I posted to Facebook, and added here with the new module:
So now, you can share your Facebook photos on thripp.com with ease. Enjoy.
